Formerly Russian Soul under Elena Kallevig's leadership, we've been renamed and are now the American Russian Center

The American Russian Center (ARC), formerly known as Russian Soul, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization. It serves as a community for Russian speakers in Minnesota, organizing and hosting events, language classes, cultural presentations, and demonstrations, as well as participating in radio and TV shows. The mission of ARC is to preserve and promote the rich and diverse cultural and artistic heritage and to serve as a liaison between the Russian-speaking diasporas and the broader community of the Twin Cities. Our national heritage is diverse – we are from the U.S., Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and other countries. We condemn the aggression of the Russian leadership against Ukraine, its sovereignty, and citizens.

Register for any of the currently offered programs, join us for events in Russian and/or English as a volunteer or a participant and become part of the Russian-speaking community in
Minnesota. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or ideas.

A Russian language immersion program in 2025, free for 30 students ranging from 9th grade to college freshmen and sophomores with prior knowledge of Russian. The program is funded by a federal grant program Startalk managed by the National Security Agency of the United States of America, which funds innovative programs with strong language learning outcomes.
This program is ideal for students looking to further develop their proficiency in the Russian language while exploring diverse cultures along the Trans-Siberian route, here in the American Russian Center in Minnesota.

We are now enrolling actors 7+ years old for our Spring Play in Russian, "Аленький цветочек". $150 per actor, including all rehearsals and 2 performances on May 10 at 12:00pm and 6:00pm.
