My grandkids took part in the RussianCampMN program for several years. When they got back each time, they could not stop talking how awesome it was! First, they enjoyed and appreciated the delicious and varied food and snacks - home-cooked food at its best! Even picky eaters had nothing to complain about. They kept talking about hand-made pierogi, chebureki, apple pie, in addition to standard fare like soups, salads and burgers.
I saw lots of pictures of my grandkids and other kids running, swimming, exercising, riding ponies, and enjoying themselves a lot. They came back with a better command of Russian after each shift. As they got older, they got to help out with younger kids at the camp, which I think is very beneficial for them.
I am very grateful to the camp organizers for the fun and growth opportunities they have to my family. I only wish I could be a kid to go to the camp!
